Community Guidelines Enforcement Policy Proposed Revisions

Proposed revisions to the Auberge Community Guidelines, are now open for a 28-day review and comment period. These changes pertain specifically to the Enforcement Guidelines Section of our Community Guidelines and have been prepared by Auberge Community Association’s legal counsel. The proposed updates are intended to align our policies with California Assembly Bill 130 (AB 130), signed into law in June 2025. This legislation revises how Homeowner Associations (HOAs) may assess fines for violations of governing documents. Key provisions of AB 130 focus on strengthening homeowner due process rights and establishing stricter limits on the amount and process of issuing fines. The Board will review all feedback and discuss the proposed changes at the Open Session Board Meeting on October 28, 2025.If you wish to submit comments, please deliver your written feedback to the management office at The Club by October 10, 2025.
