Disaster Preparedness Materials

Before COVID hit, the Auberge Disaster Preparedness Sub-Committee was planning to hold a Town Hall meeting to review disaster preparedness planning in general and to provide Auberge homeowners with some printed information specific to our homes and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, we were unable to hold this meeting. Since we do not know when we will be able to hold a meeting, the Committee has decided to go ahead and share the printed information with the Community.

Within the next week, the Committee will be distributing an envelope to each residence which contains the following materials: American Red Cross booklet titled “Be Red Cross Ready” (this booklet is specific to the San Diego area); a list of evacuation routes; a list of important telephone numbers (attached to the front of the Red Cross booklet); information on performing an annual fire sprinkler alarm test; and utility shut-off information.

The Committee hopes that you find the material to be useful in equipping you with the tools you need to keep you, your loved ones, pets, and neighbors safe during a disaster and to remain self-sufficient afterwards.
